The Ultimate Version of Gran Turismo 7? (Update 1.54)

Update 1.54 has arrived including 5 new cars and the enhanced version of GT7 for PS5 Pro users.

I believe that the PS5 Pro enhanced update makes this visually the best version of the game we have seen. Playability is superb however, I feel the content added could be of a higher caliber.

We now have 519 cars in the game which is a solid number but only one new circuit has been added in the last 12 months. I think this is an area of focus I'd like to see worked on in the near future.

Having said this, this is still the best version of GT7 we have seen to date. I just hope they can bring more content in the coming months.

The main takeaway for me in vr is enabling the foveated rendering adjustment in settings and getting rid of the horrible ghosting when looking to the side when racing and in vr replays its gone. That alone is a game changer

If that setting does anything for vr then it will be improving the reprojection. You should have tried looking out the side window to see if you still get the ghosting.

Playing this game on the PsVr2 with the Pro is absolutely amazing now with the new Reprojection algorithm. No more ghosting. I really hope other developers update their games to get rid of it, like Re4, Metro Awakenjng, Arizona Sunshine etc etc.

The Reprojetion for PSVR makes the replays much smoother especially when the cars are moving by at high speed. When you're actually driving it isn't as noticeable other than it can make the UI elements blurry as they cross from one background to another, for example if the UI for the race time goes from having the sky behind it to having trees behind it. It's not really worth using unless you want to watch a replay in VR, in my opinion
