iOS 13 Beta 2 - Follow Up

iOS 13 Beta 2 has been out for a few days and I share my experience so far with iOS 13 Beta 2. iOS 13 has been very buggy with multiple crashes and problems and if you are thinking of installing it on your main devices, I would definitely advise against it until the iOS 13 Public Beta is released in June or July. #iphone #iOS #Apple

Beta 2 is much better for me. CarPlay is working perfectly now while in beta one it crashed a lot.

The bugs are numerous and annoying... Don't know where to start. But CarPlay, bugs and all, is totally worth it.

The keyboard not letting swipe cursing is also annoying lol.

I want the public beta this coming Monday, I really want to try iOS 13 but without being a developer so hopefully what Apple said in its notes are true and not a little typo lol

I would definitely love to see separate iPad OS coverage, although it’s based on iOS, it’s a lot different in many ways.

Btw, writing this on apple’s keyboard with swipe typing feature. I should say it’s already more accurate and less buggy then google’s keyboard. At least for me.

For a beta 2 it’s been pretty stable with a few bugs on iPhone Xs. iMessages has a few issues when composing. AirPod connectivity and battery indication.

The main issues for me have been 3rd Party apps not being updated.

Overall the positives outweigh the negatives and for those willing to put up with a few hiccups, upgrade.

Beta 2 is surprisingly stable. Biggest noticeable thing has been battery life on Watch OS 6

Yes, please keep me up to date on the iPad changes. I bought my 79 year old MIL an iPad 6th Gen last year and she is finally comfortable with it. I'll need to be on top of my game when I put the new update on it for her.

The app update is too difficult now, can’t use the Dunkin’ Donuts app to pay now, battery is like half of what it was. Etc.

Installed beta 2, so far so good, the one importent thing this beta wouldnt do is connect YouTube from my Iphone X to my tv.

And YES, YouTube definitely has to optimize their app but this has nothing to do with iOS13... even on 12.3.2 and before Youtube is just horrible optimized. Oftentimes while scrolling it only goes with 10-15fps etc..
