Day 1 for Naval News at DEFEA 2021, the International Defense Exhibition held in Athens, Greece. We focused on the future frigate requirement of the Hellenic Navy and interviewed five of the six contenders.

Greek navy love the Dutch frigates a lot of Greeks in hellenic navy said that that the Sigma 10515 514 is by far the best choice for the HN

FREMM ASW is the best, the most powerful ship in all the aspects, Italy is an important partner for greece and the ASW capability is very important against Turkish subs

Can't really speak to the specifics of the designs between all these ships, but damn do I like a good inverted wave piercing bow. The FDI is just exceptionally mean looking.

Those type 23 frigates are so good, the Duke class might be old but still one of the best frigates in existence!
