Addison, AK Amputee, Recovered from Shark Attack

Just eight weeks after she was attacked by a shark while scalloping on the gulf coast, Addison is already walking unassisted! 💪🏼😍🦿 What is especially miraculous is that if not for the brilliant planning and skill of the team that basically transplanted her calf (which was not injured) onto the missing area of her thigh, this would have been an entirely different story. Addison's leg would have been amputated much higher, closer to the hip, which would make walking with a prosthetic leg much more difficult and challenging.
