Reading comments here I think that west /east split is way more marked than they are suggesting here.
I suspect headline should be warm and sunny for eastern half - not 'most'.

Broken cloud and pleasantly warm in Lanarkshire

In LIverpool today - much cloudier and colder than yesterday - about 8C cooler than they were predicting even late on Saturday.
And no way is it 23 C as shown here - its says 18C on my thermometer. What gives?

Another disappointing night last night. The clear night that had been forecast evaporated and instead we had showers coming in. I had set up a 4 hour imaging run but my rain alarm started pinging just after the run started. With the radar showing lots of showers I had to abort the run. MO is showing another clear night tonight but I remain to be convinced. *sigh* why is it that it's alway clear nights that evaporate, never the cloudy ones?

Why are bias in your reports. Scotland is in the UK and you skim over it. You didn't even mention the strong winds today
