While templates are great for small businesses our agency always recommends setting up a site with headless architecture. This really future proofs the site if you want to expand, offer more products, sell overseas. Templates can be rigid and hard to update.

I want to do web design but two big issues stand in my way. Illustration design is the number one pain point. I'm trying to learn how to draw things in Adobe illustrator and learning that just by videos online is not easy. I can't afford to pay someone else to draw all the images I need. I refuse to give up, but that is a big wall for me.

I like the idea of getting inspiration from history. Another way to get inspired, if you ask me, is in nature, or watching weather. Or try to put yourself in a different world, like the oceans, space, inner earth or some other far off situation. From theese places I can get inspiration for colors, feelings, shapes or other elements. It’s easier said than done, so I think the habit of going to dribble needs to go first :)
