At 65 here in 2020, I'm playing total catch up, in regards to Mike Oldfield and his almost half century of creating music in his own unique way. Of course like many, I first heard his debut music while watching the seminal movie 'The Exorcist' in Dec. '73. It was only a month earlier (I think), that he released the equally seminal album Tubular Bells. Just last night, I came upon the BBC half hour performance from '73 for the arts show '2nd House'. That piqued my interest even more, naturally it led to me (thanks Analog Feeling for this post) listening here to the first side of this '75 release, (Oldfield's third with Virgin). I love the visual here of your audio set up.

I listened through carefully and with pleasure, and found a higher speed pretty interesting - for one section before the solo with bodhran he actually chose that faster tempo in the demo version. Thanks for showing all your beautiful gear.

Plays too fast mate... both sides by about a minute. Or I have been listening to it at the wrong speed for 45 years ;)
