"This happens when you let a kid make his own dinner..." Best definition of all the challengers, hellcats and demons.

Strategically ending the video at 7:07. Nice.

5 years later and the hellcat is still proving that Barely Operational was wrong. Sales are still up, price still appreciating, etc.

7 years later and the Hellcat is holding its value like never before

What kind of freak dreams of non-existent Chrysler economy cars when reviewing a supercharged Challenger? Stay weird, Mr. Regular.

Just realized the Hellacat is something Australians would build

The Challenger is like that friend that you don't really have that much in common with, but is somehow always fun to hang with in spite of it.

The hellcat NEEDS as much tire as the corvette. Seriously look at those tires, too skinny even for 500 wheel.

Now I have good excuse to be late for work.

"Why were you late?" "Mr. Regular uploaded a Hellcat review. That's why"

Been waiting for this one ;) By the way, I'll have you know Mr. Regular, I don't just do arms and chest when I take my Hellcat to the gym...

Was this a hellcat review? Or a Chrysler review?

Well, yea it makes less on the dyno. Because of drive-train loss. That's how all cars HP are displayed; Engine horsepower. Actually, following the 15 percent rule the engine would be making more than 707. Either way good vid Mr. Reg. I've though it was a over-hyped car anyways.

The other day I watched the EVO car of the year video, for some reason, and what struck me most was the actual banality of the beauty on display. During the video one of the drivers said that he recalls getting the COTY issue when he was a kid and just getting sucked into the images. He said they are in the business of conveying that experience. I'm not the one to talk about the print issue of EVO, but their video certainly falls way below the mark. With the gorgeous videography and scenery and a lineup of cars to get the fear of god into you, they themselves yet seem to sadly struggle at making any sense of it all. And the experience is conveyed with nothing but a revolving stream of vapid superlatives, which leaves us feeling none the richer for it. We need writing, good and thoughtful writing in order to get any meaningful perspective. We need English majors and the like in the car world, people who read and understood the classics, those who deal with our attempts to express the seemingly inexpressible, to convey things unconveyable by images or data.

So keep doing the good lord's work peeps. Superlative video.

Im glad the Hellcat exists. The real American muscle cars are getting extinct. Then again, that's my opinion. Sure u have the Mustang and the camaro, but the Mustang has gotten to the point where it's on par with the Corvette, because they made the Mustang a sports car. Camaro wise, it's still trying to be the big bad muscle car, but slowly is trying to become an athlete. The Challenger IMO is the last real muscle car still going on. A muscle car should be the big car that u'd take on a long trip through America not because of the MPGs or because it would be practical. It's because it's striking, has a big presence and it's the kind of car that u wouldn't mind beating a bit or getting dirty, because it's supposed to be a rough car. It's that or I just love Vanishing Point too much and have that kind of image of what a Muscle car should be like. So well played from Chrysler for keeping the Challenger truest to it's original form.
