How To Make a Mini LapTop at Home With a 3D Printer

I built this computer with components that I did not use anymore.
This is the result.
The heart is a Lattepanda, very powerful and reliable.
You can run WINDOWS 10 with this configuration.
You can use it for both playing and working.
I find myself very well to play (I'm not sure of the top performances) and watch my tv series.
I could buy a tablet but where would the fun part be?
There is some change to do but I am still satisfied.
Printed with a ANYCUBIC I3 MEGA.
This is a work in progress.

I've been tinkering with this to modify it for a permanent battery rather than the 18650's... thank you for putting the files out there!

The noise is very likely from the fan you can probably soften if not get rid of the noise if you grab a decently large electrolytic cap and put it on the 5v line it should be a pretty simple way to smoothen out the noise on the 5v line.
Ps that fan is really not doing much by the way you need to add a heatsink to let some air flow and cool the panda you've got a bit of wiggle room left there so you could probably add one without changing much.

The fan definitely causes noise on the 5V line and the amplifier board picks that noise up. A premade class D audio amplifier would solve this.

I've seen this video more than five times and I still enjoy watching it.

10 inch windows 10 tablet at a fraction of the price and no fiddling about or tinny noise.
But well done with the build I still enjoy watching builds.

Great project using parts you don't use anymore. I was thinking of making a laptop with the Lattepanda. I do have a 10.1" Waveshare LCD. I'll try it with that. Thanks for the inspiration.

Omg? I would make a good machine to put next to my charger, and log what happens during charge. At least, better than using a gaming station for it :D

Tiny problem, You have to let the fan breath but good job!

Something like this, but bigger would be cool. You could put an ITX board in it, a full sized graphics card etc. It would have to be a blower style fan though.

Cool project, nice case and nice color scheme. Maybe add some heat shrink to some places, beside that, great job. :)

After seeing this I’m doing something similar using standard itx parts and with a gtx 1050 so it should be good. only problem is I don’t have a clue where to start when it comes to designing a chassis 🤔
