Good review. I would 100% check out the remix because some of the negatives that you brought up have been fixed such as the micro cuts vocals sounding muddy in the original. I haven’t heard the whole song yet but in some teasers they have posted the vocals are much clearer.

Loved this album. Got the xx remix on vinyl on order and been listening to it on Spotify yesterday. I thought is was a great I'm provement except one song that I think they nurfed the vocals to much.

how can you not like the outro of citizen erased 🥲 honestly my favourite bit of the whole album, it’s such a deep ending to such a sad song as in the lyrics of the protagonist they’re accepting what they’ve been told by the dictators and they’re fine with not believing their own beliefs instead believing the ones they’ve been forced to believe - “i’ve seen all i’ll ever need”
