Will a HOMEMADE SPOON Catch Fish?? (Fishing Experiment)

Can you make a fishing spoon lure out of a teaspoon? Today we attempt to create a fishing spoon lure form a normal everyday kitchen spoon you would use to eat cereal. We then take our homemade fishing lure to the saltwater fishig pier and the beach to put it to the test and see if it can catch a fish. What kind of fish could possibly be around and bite this? Can we actually make a spoon lure.. will it work?? We have a rod, reel, a spoon and a dream.. today we find out if a homemade spoon can catch fish. I did not expect for this to happen..

I'm only a few minutes into the video but, it looks like you've compromised your split rings. Drill your holes closer to the edge of your spoon to prevent over stretching the split rings. I love making my own fishing tackle, it's so much more satisfying to catch fish on what you've made rather than bought. Keep up the good work. 😊 <><

Built a spinner with a penny sent through one of those machines that rolls into a zoo or aquarium gift shop deal and dactually caught a trout years ago 👍

Try a butterknife. Use two sets of pliers and get a small twist in it. Drill your holes first. Don't cut it. Use the heavy end for the swivel light end for the hook. Dip the drillbit in oil before drilling.

You could use a center punch to make a dimple in the steel to catch the drill bit. Then, drill a hole.

Ngl if my intrusive ideas came out as good as that, I would be bragging abt it to whoever would listen too. 😅

the reason why it was hard to drill was not really the bit. it was that you had the drill drilling backwards... stick to fishing LOVE YOU BRO

These do work and work better than store bought lures! I live in the UK and used these home made spoons for Pike and I only ever caught Pike on these, never the fancy store bought lures...
