You did a great job on this video. It was very helpful for a Java beginner. Through this video, I knew how to use conditional statement and use it to solve my problems. In this Java statement, you said if the answer which we input "John" or "john", the output will be "I welcomed you to this program". If you we input "Jack", the output will be "You are almost a grown person!". If we input something else, the output will be "You are a minor. Get out !" This is the basic apply for Java conditional statement, and it really helps me lot. Thanks!

Although the tutorial is well done, it would be very helpful to the new users to know exactly what a conditional statement is. In its most basic form the Conditional Statement allows for the comparison of variables. Depending what type of conditional statement you use determines the structure and the output of the code. To be effective you must choose the correct type of statement to use, based off the given problem. To the most basic user this will help them understand what exactly conditional statements are so they can utilize them for effectively. Overall this was an excellent and helpful video. I hope this helps some future viewer better understand what a conditional statement really is.

It was easy, after watching the scanner video, to make the cmd ask your name, then ask how old you are, and if you input anything less than 14 (for my purposes) it says access denied. Thanks for this.

You should use DR Java. It has a built in console so you can compile and run in the same window.

I understood but which OS are you using??I use windows XP and I downloaded the java jdk 8 update 40 but it isnt working

I don't get why you didn't use Eclipse or Netbeans. This could be confusing for students who are in Java classes. But at least the content was somewhat informative, although it was a bit difficult to understand the narration.
