Hopefully my boss buys me the 5090 for my workstation. Fingers crossed.

I paid 1995$ for my Aorus Xtreme 3090 at release. Never buying a card above 1000$ again. It's just not worth it

I'll just wait if they even think they can keep 1200 to 1500 for the 5080 they are high. Nvidia's stock needs to blow so they can fix this insane ego they have.

4090 was 2800 euros here in Netherland and MRSP was 1500 , if 5090 really comes at MSRP of 2500 ....

There is no physical way I will buy anything past $800.

With MLiD claiming 5080 $1200-1600, cryoto scalpers pricing was all planned to become the “normal” all along

I live in the Philippines. The 4090 is priced between 3k to 4k USD at launch. Now it's at 2k to 3k.

I payed 1599 for the 4090 when it launched. I strongly believe that the 5090 will launch for 1799 and true msrp will be like 1899+

People were buying 4090s for over 2k, so yes, they will buy it.

My 1st GPU was an GTX 1080 (850€), then a few years latter i got an RTX 3090 (1.299€) and now cause of out of stocks in covid i only could got an RX 6800 XT (688€), But, Because i somehow got forced to get what the market had to offer me, i realized that i dont need to pay soo much for a GPU, im currently very happy it this one. Im one of those guys that say, i will never pay more 1000€ for a GPU, its not really worth for "Gaming". Thanks all!

$1999 is significantly more expensive than what the 4090 is selling for now with it's end of life remaining stock.

I got the white Asus Strix 4090 and it cost more now than what I paid, way to expensive

Your theory about the possible 5090 pricing trick from NVIDIA has a very good probability to happen

I have a 4090, paid $2000, cant use it on full due to CPU bottleneck...unless more games allow for full use of CPU, I see no point on paying for these high end GPUs.

Thee price is going to be high, the need to price it just right to persuade scalpers to not buy them all up at launch, while making sure it gets good reviews and get people to buy them in mass. Nvidia likes to launch at higher prices it thinks it can get away with.

The downside is that its a 600w GPU, gamers don't have that kind of money, what games are really going to leverage it, and the price performance can't be different from the lower end end GPUs. Who knows, people will go nuts for when it launches, and nvidia will be thinking they should have priced it higher. I haven't seen people complaining about the GPU, so they are likely to want it at any cost.

I’d say $1999 is the absolute ceiling, but will be more around $1599-$1799 for FE.

Paid $2300 for a 4090, earned beyond 10k. I dont care how much the 5090 is, it just needs to come out sooner so i can get work done faster and do more gaming!
