For the Japanese watch lovers... I’m thrilled to introduce you to one of the best hidden gems among vintage Citizen watches. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful (and rare!) Citizen Homer references ever produced. Unfortunately, this one in particular is absolutelly wrecked and may even be beyond repair... The question is, can we save it?

Join me in the journey to restore the first Japanese watch featured on the channel!

Full of admiration for your skills and explanation. My brother-in-law is the chief watch designer for Citizen and he absolutely loves the old designs, as I do. Best wishes from Japan.

It is amazing how good the dials are on some of these vintage watches hidden under cracked and discoloured crystals. Cheers rescuing watches, very enjoyable.

That was a very educational video. Thank you. I just ordered a Citizen Watch with this movement in it from China. It is supposed to be running. I also ordered a Citizen Homer movement for parts just in case. I learned a lot from this video to help me in the future to service the watch. I do not have the skills to repair a balance complete like you did in this video. Beautiful work you did on this video. I am very impressed with the watch as it is very high quality for the time it was manufactured.

Also the endresult + the strap came out wonderfully tasteful
