Blender Semi-Automatic Matchmoving

Want fully automatic tracking and matchmoving in Blender?
We don't have it yet, but this is as close as you can get.
Still pretty fast and simple!

WTF.. based on other people's videos, I thought the Blender camera tracker sucked. You've proven it to be amazing, thank you. My only suggestion would be to rename this video to include the words like "camera tracker" - I'd never considered searching for "matchmoving". This is VERY helpful & deserves more views. Great Blender Matchmoving Tutorial! These techniques are excellent for shots where features are clear and not ruined by motion blur. Its a good start to get beginners to pickup match moving. This technique will not work with crazy hand held shots with mad moves and that's where manual tracking comes into play. It would be great if Blender can include real time filters to pull out details using a unsharp mask or contrast and brightness nodes.

Great tutorial! Since you use Blender for vfx often, are you ever able to copy 2d nuke tracks to Blender 2d tracks? It seems there is no actual xy pixel input for blender trackers. There is one actually but it does nothing and seems to control nothing.

Is there anyway I can motion track a live action fight scene and apply it to a cgi character?
