I'm like mind blown knowing they built this whole nursery knowing they would move as soon as they found a house & that the babes slept in their room until they moved 🤯 they never even really needed to do all this to the nursery. I'd be sad to have left before I even got to utilize it properly 😭🥺

It’s been such an incredible privilege to be invited into their lives and I’m so proud to see how far the twins have come in just a year! NICU babies are resilient 💕 lots of love to Colleen for making a strong community that supports mamas, parents, babies, and families of all kinds!!

My sister in law taught her son sign language, and he would use that instead of talking. It got to the point where she had to go to the doctor to see why he wasn't speaking on track like children his age, (after a bunch of tests) the Doctor said it was because she was signing to him. He said a lot of parents that see him taught their children (that are not deaf) to sign as well, and they all had similar problems. He said if you really want to teach them to sign, 4 years old is the best age because they have the basic knowledge of speech and won't choose to substitute speaking for signing. She really struggled with getting him to talk again, and wish she knew the repercussions of teaching her son (who was not deaf) sign language when he was a baby. Sharing this story to help others 🙏🏿❤.

I audibly gasped at the title, unbelievable how these sweet little babies are already a year old. Feels like we were just a part of the crazy pregnancy journey not long ago. Congrats Colleen!
