I've never spoken Swedish with anyone (jag gjorde mitt bästa)

This is what I do in my spare time... learn languages. However, I rarely focus on speaking. As a "calligrapher", I prefer reading and writing. But, it was starting to feel weird that I had never spoken Swedish with anyone before, because I consume it so much now. So I made a new goal to speak more.

I know that most people are afraid of speaking another language. But I am the CAPTAIN of that fear. I need to get over that, so this video is part of my strategy. I did my best.

Roast me in the comments 😭😭

I'm Swedish and I'm very impressed! Your pronunciation was super good! I understood everything without having to read the subtitles. It's amazing that you've gotten so good considering you say you have no one with whom you can practise speaking.

There were a few grammar mistakes here and there, but I'd consider them minor mistakes since I understood you perfectly anyway.

I'm FINALLY starting my asmr channel after years of obsession and was looking for some mic setup tips. I came across your video (which was great thank you so much) and then clicked this one. I love your voice and the quality of your videos! I hope to see this channel grow as I work on my own. You definitely deserve it!

This is a really inspirational video to show that a little bit of practice every day can make a big difference. If I could speak Swedish, I'd practice with your. I'm sure you'll find someone quickly now.

Damm I with my german, english and the fact that I live a the scadinavian border understand pretty much everything without even reading the subtitles. I am pretty impressed of myself, but probally also I understand so much, because I hear a lot of OV Sabaton Songs like: Gott mit Uns; En Livstid i Krig and Livgardet. Even if you may did some misses, which I don´t know, it was in my eyes super easy to follow and to understand everything. You can be proud of yourself.

I don't speak Swedish (though I do recognize some similarities, cause I speak German) but congrats on your pronunciation and on the courage to put this out there!

The funny thing is that swedish sounds pretty much like a strange dialect of the german language which it definitely isn't but in fact this is also the case when it comes to norwegian or danish. Sometimes I also seem to understand some swedish words without speaking it.

I can't tell you if you messed up any words, because I know no Swedish! But always good to see you... and this reminds me that I *really* should start carving out some time each day to work on Latin.
