Recently, I did a review of another sling bag from Alpaka Gear, which I loved. But I needed a little extra space, so I decided to explore their website again, and boom, I found the Metro Sling Bag, a perfect fit for my needs.

The Metro Sling Bag looks sleek and modern, and I opted for the iconic black color. It also comes in dark green, slate gray, and coyote brown, catering to different style preferences. The carbon-neutral bag is crafted with weatherproof, UV-proof, and abrasive-resistant materials, making it durable for all my adventures.

I get it, you wanna be cool and “obliterate” that background with your f1.2 lens. But for product reviews more depth of field = more better, otherwise you end up showing/talking about a blob of blur…

I took a chance on that thing too when it was on pre-order. Works perfect for my little Panasonic ZS200 camera, plus can fit a battery bank and hold my phone if its charging. My only regret was not waiting for the grey or coyote color to come out. I think Alpaka just released a "Nano Sling Go" which is close to the same size of this but horizontal oriented instead of vertical. Alpaka has a bunch of stuff that is only slightly bigger or smaller, so you really got to compare the dimensions for what you need.

Nice review. I like the design…not too bulky. My only question is….will it also fit a small water bottle when it’s not too packed?

Hello, may I have a question? I would like to buy one sling bag as a birthday present. But I don't know whether to choose metro sling or vertical sling. A metro sling might be better for daily wear, but when I travel, I always pack a lot of things in my sling bag, such as charging cables, a power bank, a passport, etc. I like the metro sling because it has some extra compartments compared to the vertical sling, but in terms of size I probably liked the vertical sling more. Which do you think I should choose?
