When I worked at a jerky place and could wear whatever I want (I wear lots of gothic clothing or gothic Lolita) there was an older lady who I would come in to relieve and every time she would rave about how cute I looked. 1000% made my days there. I love when you meet an older, open minded person. She herself was adorable and I loved wearing new things specifically to see her reaction. I also used to go visit my mom at work bc at the time (she’s a CNA) she worked like a five minute walk away at a retirement home. We had a very affectionate hypoallergenic dog and I’d occasionally bring him when I would go. A lot of people don’t get visitors so I loved being that for them, occasionally picking flowers along the way for the people I visited. We all grow old one day, no one deserves to be alone completely 💕

Theres this old woman down the street, i talk to her everyday coming by her house. Shes like a best friend to me, while not even knowing her name. When i have a bad day, i just go for a walk and visit her. I can talk to her and she will comfort me, its seriously so much better then talking to my "friends" at school.
