It's Friday the 13th and a full moon is out, and while everyone is suffering from some severely bad luck, Misery is a walking, talking good luck charm (not to mention Mother Nature's new best friend). And it's driving her crazy! So she starts "Disaster Camp", a camp to train her friends to survive the nasty luck she experiences every day.

I finally realized Misery's hair is jet black and the purple on her head is her veil.

i think the reason misery's so pissed about friday the 13th being good luck for her is how paranoid it must make her - she's clearly had to train herself to work through and survive every disaster that can occur, which has probably taken up a good length of her life to learn, and so it's a kind of security for her. to suddenly not need that security must really take misery out of her comfort zone, especially when she's so used to it
