Amsterdam Today (Evening Walk Through Streets)

Today we have a great weather in Amsterdam, i mean when we consider that we are in February and it is one of the coldest months in the Netherlands but temperature is not bad, no rain, no snow. And the best thing is, Amsterdam is open again despite the increasing case numbers. So we walk through Amsterdam city streets, squares, looking out evening vibes, pubs, restaurants, street life together. It is been a while since our last live walking tour. Welcome back on the walks Murat! Great to see you walking around again! Sorry to hear that you and family had the dreaded Covid whilst back at home. I hope that your family / father gets better soon and can shake off the bug. It seems this Omicron strain is spreading so easily that most of European countries are seeing highest ever daily infection cases and not just in the UK this time. ​

On the frugal tourist front, I have to confess that is exactly what I am whenever I am in Amsterdam - I spend as little as possible and always look for the cheapest food to get me through each day, and you have chosen exactly what I always have every day for ontbijt (breakfast) which is Scharrel Ei from Albert Heijn - yes I love it too and it is very nice. I always add the mayonnaise to the inside of the broodje as well - it's yummy. However, prices have gone up since my last visit in January 2020. It used to be 1 Euro 65 c for Scharrel Ei and now it has increased to 2 Euro! Inflation and of course the rise in cost of everything wherever you go!
