Does this fireplace have tempered or ceramic glass and any maintenance problems your aware of?

Hello.  Is it just me or does it look like the brick panel doesn't look like it comes to the top of the unit on the inside of the burn box?  Does it have the same brick pattern on the top of the firebox too Inside)?  Thank you for all of the videos.  It's really nice to be able to see what the units look like during operation.

My Napoleon HD40NT has already been serviced twice in 1 year as I have a NEW home .The last service call cost me $400 to have 2 electronic modules replaced because they melted due to non insulated poor design .Napoleon do not want to know .Their fires in my opinion sre really second rate.

Would you choose a napolean hdx40 or a mendota fv34 for a new construction home with propane fuel? Pro/ con of one over the other? Thank you for your help and excellent channel. I appreciate the videos very much. Thanks again Adam
