The Philippines facing threat from China must boost its defense capability. With this $500 million aid from US, acquire more anti-ship missiles anti-ship drones, Brahmos missiles, ships, ang fighter jets.
The US should deploy more Typhon missile launcher systems and HIMARS to deter/counter China's missiles ang navy.

. . . so its Military Aid and not a supposed related Humanitarian Aid ---- that's respectfully very Uncle Sam character (though not being a cry baby --- our majority humble poor may perhaps switch for China's consideration on how badly Manila and its suburbs fall helpless from unmaintained entire NCR drainage which caused this non-stop year after year (very predictable) city flooding. (do we really have local leadership thinking on these basic matters?)

You see the citizens cannot afford massive community flood control upgrading? The elites and well-to-do don't understand this inconvenience.
