Next challenge : take pictures of someone who isn’t a professional model

A couple of obstacles for next time:
1 - Silent photoshoot (can't say anything to give the model instructions
2 - Southpaw shutter (flip the DSLR upside down)
3 - Grounded (the camera has to be in contact with the floor at all times)
4 - Anonymous (you can't take a photo of the model's face)

Try photographing someone who's not a model .. she's literally doing 50% of your work - meeting you halfway there with her poses and prettiness. Photographing someone whose is awkward in front of the camera and who isn't a model, would really show how an artistic photographer can catch the beauty and ease in that..

Obstacle ideas:
- Can't speak to model while shooting. You can communicate through gestures but no words
- Shoot 2-3 models instead of just one

It would be interesting to use film. For example three photographers, three looks, three locations but with one roll of film each. The each get to chose their film stock of choice. And for the sake of consistency use the same format, all 120 or 35mm.

Hi Jessica on the next challenge I would suggest to use only your iPhones or android phones to shoot and also edit the pictures ONLY on the Lightroom Mobile App.

a good challenge would be to have you have to find a stranger and have them model for you, not a professional model or someone with experience
