Saskatoon Real Estate Market Stats - January, 2022

The Saskatoon real estate market for Jan 1, 2022 looks to be continuing strong but for for how long? 3 key stats show why now might be the time to have a discussion about when the best time to sell is. Call me!

1. Active inventory. We are at all time lows for listings on the market. Low supply means high demand. For how long? This could change as spring approaches.

2. Buyer demand. Demand is high right now putting upwards pressure on pricing. This will change as interest rates begin to rise and tampers demand. Then putting downward pressure on prices.

3. Interest rates. Rates are going up. Everytime rates go up, the value of your house goes down.
