Maui 360 Video DJI Inspire 1 Drone Aerial Shot Test Flight

On a recent shoot in Hawaii, 360 Labs cofounder, Matt Rowell, was able to test DJI's Inspire 1 drone as a shooting platform for aerial 360º video. The DJI was easily able to handle the payload of our 3 camera Freedom 360 Broadcaster. Check out this shot of this beautiful house & garden on Maui.

OK I am going to say it. I think that using multiple gopros to shoot 360 is a terrible idea. There are seams GALORE. And each camera is vibrating separately, making the seams shaky. Yes the res of the raw footage is higher but who is going to see it? I highly recommend a single two-lens camera, like the samsung or the nikon or whatever. Just ditch the ball-o-gopros. Otherwise, lots of fun and a worthy experiment.
