I seem to recall at least one other video game where the deployment animation even included loading the thermal battery into the launcher (that round cylinder in front of the firing grip). Its impressive to think that before firing, the warhead required both a recharge and a cryogenic injection (pressurized Argon gas) to allow the guidance system to operate for roughly 40 seconds.

You know, from everything I've read, the Stinger's launcher is reloadable. In no medium shown is it visibly reloaded.
