These are the adorable images that show the unlikely friendship between a pit bull and a tiny baby duckling.

After Daryl was found waddling the streets alone, Kellie-Lynn Ragland, 26, from St Cloud, Florida agreed to rehabilitate him until he was old enough to survive on his own.

The animal lover was initially worried that Daryl would be frightened of her rescue dog, Raven, but it was like water off a ducks back for the duo who became inseparable from the moment they met.

The three legged pooch now protects her feathered friend like he was one of her own pups, while Daryl thinks of Raven as his ‘momma duck’.
