Im on episode 4...this show is so good, very dark, Noir feel to it. I'm not even big on comic book stuff. Ive never seen the Affleck version and only had a general idea what the character was about (He was blind, he was a lawyer, he kicks ass) but i must say this show is VERY good.

This looks awesome, cannot wait for the show!
But... is that Kingpin?
Too early to tell, but Kingpin NEEDS to be physically intimidating, not just by his mobster position or his intelligence. He needs to be a power house, literally.
Michael Clarke Duncan did a good job, even though IMO they should have made him bigger (and of course more screen time with some strenght feats).

Personally, I'd like to see Netflix/Marvel phase 2 be swapped around and be four shows based on villains, and then a villain team-up for the fifth show.

Just as a quick example, since this Defenders isn't going to be a line-up we've seen before and the goal will be different, you could have 4 villain shows lead up to a new line-up of Masters of Evil.

You could even, completely, straight swap it and do first show Kingpin. Second show Purple Man. Whichever for Luke and Danny's villains. You could progress the story and character of Murdock in Kingpin like they are doing Kingpin in Murdock's show. And so on, Marvel needs to let some villains "win" once or twice, I think. Not that "defeating" Ultron is going to be a "win" for Avengers. As much a loss no matter how it goes.

This show reallllyy makes up for the Ben Affleck Daredevil. I love this show.
