I sold my junior prom dress. But it was so rewarding. The girl had the same reaction I had when I bought the dress. She started crying because for the first time in a long time she felt beautiful. That's how I felt when I bought it. It was good to pass that feeling onto someone else.

I absolutely love the 1964 orange dress, super gorgeous. I could definitely wear that. Then the white one, simple yet very elegant and classic.

Honestly If you feel like standing out 100% go for a unique look. I wore my traditional cultural clothes to prom and everyone loved it. No one had anything like it and I didn’t feel overdressed bc there were ppl with literal wedding dresses on

Literally wore my mom's bridesmaid dresses from when she stood up in a couple weddings for prom! Would recommend doing this if possible!

My mom grew up in a rural town with not a lot of money so there was "the one" dress for all the older gilrs. It was stunning. She had on long white opera gloves, and this fit to the waist, then poof, big tulle skirt. She looked like a queen. Its one of my favorite photos of her ever. Unfortunately, she has no clue what happened to it. A few of her sisters wore it and it was passed around and probably given to another family and no one ever saw the dress again. I would have totally worn it if I could.

How did yall go to prom freshman and sophomore year? Did you both have upperclassmen dates? Prom was only for juniors and seniors at my school
