The point about not connecting with Town Hall attendees is so on point. Love him or hate him Bill Clinton was amazing in these settings. He somehow made people feel like he really personally cared about them as individuals. Obama was also very good at this, although with him, he was more like a cool dude you want to hang with. Harris has missed the mark completely.

Well, Cooper, I've made parenting mistakes (says the woman who became stepmother to 2 near-adult children at age 40).
Then she starts talking about how to avoid mistakes by preparing better. Like she would know.
As she said on the view, "Nothing comes to mind." Just her vocal fry alone is enough to make my hair curl.

Something else is going on with Harris. Is it substance abuse, an untreated mental illness, or the fact that she just isn't smart enough to be at this level. She failed the bar multiple times, took an unethical path to job promotions, etc. Why did 90 percent of her Whitehouse staff resign, when that's a job people want on their resume? This fell in her lap, she refuses to accept responsibility, has no empathy, is known to blame her staff when things go wrong and seems to be trying to impress people with a false sense of intellectualism. Is it the Political Peter Principle?
