Sam clafin said this was the first time he truly used his own emotions to cry without the aid of props. Because he was so caught up in the character and was truly saying goodbye to the cast and band

It’s the way Daisy is saying goodbye to this band - her family in this scene one at a time 😭 she’s acknowledging that it’s over and it was doomed from the start but it was glorious

the most self aware and compassionate daisy was in the whole series. she realized that she loved billy enough to let him go because at the time she knew it was the best thing for him. she wasn’t at a place in her life yet where she could be what he needed and she accepted that and in a single word saved his relationship with his wife and his daughter. one of the most beautifully tragic portrayals of heartbreak i’ve seen on a screen.

The way I felt bad for every single character in this scene

Daisy saved Billy's life that night. She showed him the way of his own salvation. That's why I love Daisy so much, even though she's intense and crazy, she's a good person. I'm gonna miss her 🥺💔

When the crowd started singing, Billy's tears, Daisy's smile. GOOSEBUMPS

Favorite episode by far because Daisy refuses to be with Billy drunk/high/not himself and realizes she doesn't want to be with a man who (at the time) viewed her as broken. Then commits to rehab with the support of her best friend who has consistently shown up for her (unlike the book where Cami facilitated). Do Daisy and Billy have smoking hot chemistry? Obviously. But sometimes chemistry just doesn't cut it!! We'll see if there's S2.

I took this scene completely different than most I guess. Daisy is in love with him and when you truly love someone its not selfish and you just want that person the best version of themselves. Daisy is telling him that although they love each other its Camilla that silences his demons at this point simply Camilla makes Billy want to be a better person and Daisy realizes that she doesn't she also doesn't want to be anyone's second choice ya know " love me bc you can't be with out me and we make each other the best versions of one another, not bc your wife left bc we hurt her inadvertently and now your sad and don't wanna be alone so you want me and the booze and drugs so you don't feel the pain that she left"

Incredible performance! First show I've watched in years. It really spoke to me with what's going on in my life, as a struggling artist. I related so much to Daisy's character. The music was great. I hope they release "it was always you" song. Riley's voice really stood out on that one to me. Just an incredible performance all the way around by everyone! The spirit of the 70s is alive and well! Lets' keep making more music with soul!

I had to rewatch a couple of times before I caught her mouthing “GO” to him. What a great treat this show is. I love the cast.

It’s the way she says goodbye. The way she sings the song they created and tells him to “go.” Because she loves him that much. It’s her singing the lead on this song alone that makes it so heartbreaking. I know Eddie & Karen are singing, too but there just something heart wrenching about it.

I think I've NEVER cried in the way I did watching this. Even though I've read the book and I knew was it coming. I fucking love this series and this book

He remembered it was his love song for his wife. And so did she. Even then he needed the push from daisy.

Noticed how even we as audience never got to see them singing 'look at now' together one last time.

Music, love and creativity while being young in the 1970's...if you were there you know there was something in the air. This show brings a lot of that back with tears and laughter and at the end...the music once again.

Really appreciate this series and, it’s behind the scenes style view of a rock bands life. Loved all the characters and their interactions with each other and, the authentically 70’s songs.THIS SCENE IS ESPECIALLY BRILLIANT!
