with a foot switch you have more control operating your tools when keeping both hands on the job and not worrying about switching on/off

Hey, I'm from the united states and I had to make a foot switch for my grandson's mustang, or should I say my mustang. Anyway I had a mental block for month's. Until I watched your video !! I was even able to install a second switch that would activate seconds after the first one. Thankyou for making the video. Take care. David Stuchkosr

Cool build! Using a microwave switch and spacers to prevent breaking it is a very neat idea.
I plan on making a very similar one, except that I plan to attach a slightly larger box with an electrical outlet on top - so I can just plug in the power cable of whatever machine I want to control with it.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice job using what's on-hand
Would recommend to you and anyone that is duplicating this: slide everything back on the board by the width of a junction box or similar enclosure and run all wiring into the box. Make connections in the box, slap an outlet on the top and patch in a power input and you have a more rugged tool that isn't a shock/fire/reliability headache :)
