Using a Ten Frame - Bonds to ten

Using a ten frame helps children; keep track of counting, learn number relationships, learn addition to 10, understand place value.
Children leaarn 1:1 correspondance, they begin to see number patterns and it helps them to see number pattern as the frame can be used horizontally (grouping in 5's) or vertically (grouping in 2's). There are no rules on how to use it. Children can investigate all the combinations within 10 and begin to build their number sense.
