The SSS came in the 4dr as well. The Bluebird had a different roof line on the 2dr coupes only. 4drs like this one didn't have a different roof.

check I.D tag "109 hp" sss "97 hp" std, tail light are 72 but grill is earlier, has sss chrome window moulds too

Whoa that'd make a heck of a parts car if nothing else, those interior pieces looked reasonable.

I don't think I've ever seen the 2-door Sedan version.

I like Datsun Bluebirds. They're awesome cars! My favourites are those built between 1967 and 1971 (PL510 here in North America). I also like those built between 1978 and 1980 the 810 sold here in North America).

The dozen or so cars also in the lot could be used for parts. Soon they'll be rusted away to nothing though. :(

Sad to see them rotting away like that when you know what they are worth here in Aus. I can't even remember the last time I saw one in SA. I guess a lot have kissed trees thanks to their popularity in the rally scene. :-/
