cant i be proud and humble at the same time? being proud of myself because I am healthy, I accomplished a lot of things, but still being humble etc?

there is so much i question about people. Like how can a person claim to be a follower and yet condone sins God detests (pride being the topic here)? Being proud is one thing but knocking down others and thinking one is better than others (due to their accomplishments) is another. People who have this makes it even harder on those who actually want to believe and follow God.

Our whole of society runs on pride/proud. People feeling deep satisfaction from one’s own achievements and also deep pleasure from their children’s achievements. People are proud of their houses and careers and cars and heaps of other things and we don’t realise this is a sin to god as we see it everyday in our society and are brainwashed into thinking it is normal.
Look at famous singers are so proud of having an amazing voice and proud of their career this is all worshipping of self
