I have a lot of respect for GRAHAM NASH & STEVEN STILLS David is harder to assess and forgive the misgivings & betrayals he has been known for. His Songs are incredible works of melodic and rocking tunes rich in quality of Lyrics, notes and chords crafted in beautiful style ... sung with a wonderful voice owning sweet as well as growl for effect as the mood of the song required. His ego was a strength at times ... a barrier or broad axe when he felt wicked .... people that knew him expressed that ! In the end .... he lived long enough to create wonderfully crafted music short only by so much he could have still given ! GBjj

You hear that a lot. People become estranged from each other - for what at the time seems like an unforgivable act - one dies, and the other realises that what pushed them apart was trivial compared with a life shared. None of us are around for that long; probably best to make the most of it.

I saw CSNY @ Altamont, 1969. Then CSN, 2nd round, 1974? Excellent both times. Will miss David's voice, guitar..

Sorry for your loss Graham and the same for all of us who loved him. He was a self indulgent rascal and self centered narcissist like many institutionalized musicians, but for most, [but not all], he made this world a better place. The same can be said for most of us. All of us have is where God's "Special needs Children" David Crosby was one of them.

He ought to own his own part. That 0:04 book of his was a slam on Crosby and it should have been titled, "I'm so Awesome".

Yes. Perhaps Nash is being hypocritical - especially after saying a few years earlier “are you a decent person or a fu*king asshole?” (regarding Crosby). But when people finally die, one tends to focus on the good times and the accomplishments. Crosby was painfully flawed - as all addicts are. But he also wrote “Gweniviere.” So….

Seems that Nash changed his tune on Crosby after the fact. Neither one gave any indication that they would ever speak again when they were asked. Nash, in particular, was quite belligerent when discussing Crosby. Now, all of a sudden, he and Crosby were getting “closer” prior to Crosby’s passing. Sounds like self-serving BS from the king of self-serving BS, Graham Nash. The only thing missing here is an interview with Neil Young where he talks about his fondness for Crosby snd how much he misses him. These fools must think that no one remembers anything they’ve said. With the amount of negativity coming from both Nash snd Young towards Crosby over the past few years, the only honorable thing to do at this point would be to remain silent. Unfortunately, their giant egos won’t allow that.

I think that Young will go next. Not trying to be morbid, but he looks AWFUL. Graham Nash looks pretty good for his age, and he's in LOVE...which is a big boost to one's health!

I bought one of his hand signed limited prints several years ago and there were only a handful left. But they are still selling. Only one a year? Hmmmm. And when he claimed he was pulling all his songs off Spotify for Political reasons but they were still there? And he left his 38 year old marriage for a girl his kids age? Hmmmm.

Almost 60 years of knowing the guy and all you got from him was music??? All respect is gone.

Thank you Stephen Stills, first for your superior musical offerings to that quartet and then surviving what must have been a version of hell beyond CSNY's first two albums, (it was hell for a lot of listeners for sure, ) then going on to create actual historically significant music with Chris Hillman and Manassas, and your solo career as well. Far more respect for you than this guy featured here, the guy that should've remained a Byrd, and the loner dude whose fabulous career was literally carried to a finish line by an album about Kurt Cobain and a follow up album featuring members of Pearl Jam. After which quality control seems to have been cast to the wind. In '94 or thereabouts.

Dying "with" COVID, not "of" COVID.

It is all very disappointing and warns you not to believe in celebrities. Genuineness is an incredibly hard thing to find. The more some star can insulate themselves, the more likely they are faking it. That said, we're a big factor in the desire for insulation. It's a matter of judgment, you make the call. I saw Graham Nash at a festival in 2017, very fine performance. As of this year, he is still a good performer, but i will certainly NOT pay to see him.
