The Olympian Gods and Goddesses were the most powerful entities that descended to earth when restarting anew of building civilizations after the destruction from the Great Flood.

So basically Greek mythology ended because of a family feud. Though honestly it makes sense why the rest of the family did not like Zeus. He was Graping pretty much everyone. His mother his sister and his daughters
