VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

This South African couple worked as crew on Yachts until they discovered bus life. Once getting a taste of home on the road in the US, they decided they couldn't return to their jobs. So now, Gordon and Che are exploring the country in their DIY rig until they have to return home!

Their adorable green bus has an 8" roof raise with a custom ladder leading up to the roof deck that overlooks the back deck made to haul their motorcycle. The interior is functional, with a large kitchen and a living room that converts into their sleeping space. Gordon also customized a TV that hides behind the couch when not in use, so cool!

How amazing that you foster dogs and spend time giving back to your community. So many animals suffering being homeless.

I saw this video & kept saying to myself, "WHERE have I seen her before???" I thought I was losing my mind until you explained where you are famous from!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED YOU on the yacht show!!!! BLESS YOUR HEARTS for the jobs you did dealing with such 'priviliged' people that weren't always the nicest to all!!! You both have some SERIOUS PATIENCE for that type of work!!!! Your tiny is just ADORABLE & is something that caught my eye for a single, older woman with just her fur babies now!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE how you foster fur babies & I'm waiting for that FIRST 'foster fail', 🐶😉💕 it WILL happen....there is NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!! ✝️🐶💕🤗
THANK YOU for sharing your tiny home!!! 👍😍😇

This video is so heartwarming. As a former interior designer I can say your schoolie is verywelldone, with lots of thought to details. You have done a fantastic job. I cannot say how fantastic it is that ya'll have an altruistic nature. I am a freelance dog rescuer. So many more fosters and needed now. Animals are being set out to fend for themselves at the highest levels we have seen in over 40 years. Your work with there is so very important. Thanks for being such great examples of young people that are putting words into action.

Che and Gordon are two of the best people I have ever known. They are so conscientious and detail-oriented. They worked so hard on this build and it is a beautiful reflection of the quality and integrity that they put out into the world.

45 years ago my dad had a skoolie that I loved playing in. It had bunk beds and a porta potty and a small kitchen. He used it for hunting. All my friends thought that was the craziest thing they’d ever heard of. It’s awesome to see how far skoolies have come today!

Bravo for your fostering! We have been fostering for 17 years and it has been so important to us. As you stated, dogs in fostering homes give them time to learn and mature which allows successful adoptions. I think your goals are great and wish you the very best in all your goals and dreams!!

I have 2 agree with some of the comments that say u guys r so adorably cute. I luv ur doggie! He/she made me smile! U have done a superb job on ur build & in raising the roof. If I could do something like this, the roof would have 2 b high 2 fit my 6'4" son. Actually, I would have 2 have a bit more rm than that, wouldn't want him feeling like the roof was resting on his head. I would also have 2 have a tv & an indoor toilet/shower. Ya'll have a superb set-up! Excellent craftsmanship! If u all out grow it, 4 1 reason or another, please bring it 2 me. We would luv 2 live in it. 🙂🙂

Absolutely love this bus! I love how you made the electric cabinet accessible and lifted, the concept for the eventual stowaway toilet, the hidden insulated curtains, the happy accident of lights in your wardrobe, the absolutely seamless roof raise corresponding to the counter height, the entry door with a window to see while driving, and your beautiful message to do good on your travels. Thank you so much for sharing <3

There was a lot of thought out into your bus Olive, I really enjoyed your video and I love your mission. Also Che looks a lot like the actress Kathryn Heigl, very pretty.
