Here we are today to show you the tutorial on how to Scratch in FL Studio. Best for Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B music.
Only thing you will need is a midi controller with a knob.

1 Load your sample
2 Enable envelope and leave only hold
3 Enable Pitch envelope, leave only Decay, decrease it a little
4 Link amount to your controller
5 Play note while triggering the knob

Done!
To link a knob to a controller simply plug in your controller, hit „Link to a controller” and turn the knob.

You can use these techniques for every genre, such as rap, progressive house, future house, drum and bass, hip-hop, RnB, bass house, deep house, hard trap & many more!

For everybody who dont hear the scratching effect like me: Make sure on the main page from the Sampler: time stretching - mode: Stretch Pro. When it´s on auto or other modes i didnt hear the scratch effect :)

Hey everyone, here are most of your doubts regarding this tutorial:
Don't have Envelope settings? - Drag the sample from the sample pack and place it in the channel rack ( the one in which has the default kick, snare pattern when you open FL). Then double click on the sample from sample pack.
Don't have midi? - Use your keyboard to play the sample and use mouse or automation clip to to change the pitch amount. ( No need to link to controller in this case )
.
Pitch does not change even after midi controller is linked and amount knob rotates? - Just go to the time knob in the TIME STRETCHING section of the sample ( the third one is the time knob there ). Right click on the TIME KNOB and set value to 0 ( you can also type in the value ). Now try playing sample and changing the amount knob.

Ok, so I feel bad for not taking the time to actually do ALL of the troubleshooting I had in mind before coming at @FL Studio Tips...my bad y'all, please forgive me.

To those below who had the problem of not hearing the scratch, but also see your MIDI mapping working in real-time, try mapping two knobs from your MIDI controller, one for the DECAY and one for the "AMT" knobs. I just tested to confirm about an hour after my very jump-the gun-like comment below. Again, guys, I'm sorry for that.

I really hope this solves the same problems below after my new "workaround" I've presented here. Really, I guess I could say I had to fine-tune the decay knob to work in my favor, so I ended up mapping to a separate MIDI knob anyways, allowing me for better control, in my opinion. I literally just adjusted the DECAY knob a "little passed the quarter mark" as I played my project, and I heard some scratching effect (and as the instructor here did say adjust that to "around a quarter", right?), much to my surprise, obviously.

Please let me know who else this worked for. I realize now it WAS me from the get-go and my DECAY knob wasn't in the right position, I guess...*facepalm*

Happy Forest and producing, community!!!

When I try it, it will only play the sample with the pitch where my knob happened to be when the sample started. It won't change pitch during the sample while it's playing, even if I keep turning the knob. I didn't see anyone else mention this, is that how it's supposed to work? I'm a little bit disappointed in that case personally.
