Austria has been dominated by Mercedes since its return to the F1 calendar. Would that continue in 2017, with Valtteri Bottas on pole but Lewis Hamilton languishing in 8th on the grid?

Those last two laps were absolutely nail-biting and also bottas' start was phenomenal

As a Vettel fan, i have nothing but respect for Bottas. He didn't jump start, his reaction time was 0.209 while Vettel's was 0.309 if i remember correctly. He didn't do anything spectacular but he made no mistakes. Good for him, as Vettel leads championship by 20 points.

"Down the inside goes Daniel Ricciardo" is a quote I've heard more often than any other in F1

Other than Bottas jump-start or not becoming the Vettel or Hamilton Baku issue...

KVYAT WHAT THE HELL, GREAT JOB ON TAKING OUT TWO OF THE BIG FAN FAVOURITES OF THIS YEAR AT THE SAME TURN IN THE SAME MOVE. Great torpedo.

No wonder why Kvyat lost his seat in Redbull

Ricciardo gets no credit he did a great job to defend his position although his car is much inferior in comparison to the dominant Mercedes

A summary of YouTube comment section in every race highlight of the 2017.
1. Vettel fans accusing Mercedes of cheating when FIA has cleared them and even after Vettel accepts that he's wrong
2. Hamilton fans calling vettel a crybaby.
3. Bwoah.
4. A joke about Alonsos DNF.
5. A joke about Max's bad luck.
6. Honestly.
7. A joke about what a bad driver stroll is when he has already scored 18 points with a podium.
8. A Honda joke.
9. A genuine fan congratulating the winner.
10. Someone saying how both vettel and Hamilton are great drivers and they should be respected equally but since the fan base is retarded and saltier than the dead sea, they get ignored.

Alonso and Verstappen, the men with bad luck of the season

I loved seeing Max's reaction at the steering wheel when he got pushed at the first corner, if I'm not mistaken having to use the clutches to keep the car from stalling. Completely in focus even after being hopelessly taken out.

Poor Alonso
As if he hasn’t been having enough trouble already

This 2017 is the year of the polemics:
- Vettel's start at China outside of the box
- The supposed Hamilton's brake test and Vettel's reaction to it
- The start of Bottas at this race...

C'mon make your bet, what's next?

The start was in the gray zone of the rules but it's not illegal since he wasn't away of the sensor zone before the lights went out. Very risky strategy but this time it worked.

People need to stop harping on about the "jumpstart". The data confirms Bwoahttas was just within the threshold they allow, there's no argument here. Computers > TV > Human eye.

The only thing reliable with Max recently is his bad luck...

I am a Ferrari and Kimi fan, obviously if Kimi can't win this championship i want Seb to win it, but come on that was a great start from Valtteri, if FIA says it was not a jump start then it was not a jump start, don't let fanatism blind you. We all should be impressed by Bottas' great start, not trying to punish it.
