Substation design: Realistic Wires with Advanced Wire Mode - using primtech 3d

The video shows how to easily create realistic wires with the "Advanced Wire Mode" of the engineering software "primtech 3d". This option can be called up on the wires’ context menu - Curvature Type Advanced Modus. This modus allows the modifying of the position and curvature of the wires in space - using grips (blue points). Any number of control points (grips) can be added or deleted. The entry tangent on both ends of the wire can be defined freely.

This allows the user to design realistic wires for new substations or as well for already existing substations based on laser scan point cloud data. It is then possible to comfortably recreate the wire curve as visible from the laser scan capture. To create any wires, first use the primtech connection configurator and then decide what mode (normal or advanced) to use.
