Can’t believe I had to look up a you tube video on how to use a can opener. Turns out I was doing it right but the thing still slips on every second turn.

Tried opening my can of tuna with this thing and couldn’t even bite onto the tin. Chucked it straight in the bin. Will be using a traditional can opener from now on

Well....here I am in 2023 trying to figure out how to use this can opener, and it looks like I'm not alone.😮 I suspect that I'll be back again. 😅Thanks for the demo.

Still doesn’t work, what a waste of money. I’m in my kitchen crying because I can’t open tuna ffs.

I like it and I use it every time to open cans - no problem.

Ordered one of these and it didn’t work. Told the supplier who replaced it within a couple of days. Fecking thing doesn’t work either.

I am wondering how safe this method of opening cans is for recycling the tins. Having a sharp metal edge instead of the bevelled lip ( from normal tin openers ) at the top doesn't feel right to me. I too had to look up how to use it, but, I am concerned for the recycling people. I will NOT be using it again.

So this opener removes the can's safety edge and gives you a sharp can edge to lean on! Then you put the nice safe-edged lid into the empty can and however you fold the can, the sharp edge remains. This seems nuts to me. Ring pull cans give the hint...if one were needed...that removing the sharp edged lid leaves the can's safety edge. Once empty, place the sharp lid inside and crimp it safely inside. A conventional can opener gives the same result.

Thanks so much for this video. I didn't realise you had to open the "legs" of the opener first. So simple when you know how.

Despite all the negative comments I thought this was a really good can opener!

Had to look up how to properly use this. Figured it out by noticing the blade cuts the outside of the can whilst traditional can openers cut the inside of the rim.
I didn't buy this, I'm at my in-laws place who are away and this was what they had.
I would stick with the traditional one.

Not the best opener for a can that has liquid in it like beetroot. I used it and had beetroot juice mess on my kitchen bench. Also another concern is the sharp edges that are exposed on the can that other openers do not leave. On a positive note, it does a great job of opening cans.
