Unpopular opinion (maybe!) - But the whispering / blowing sounds without the windscreen are (to me) so much nicer & crisp! The mics you use have a high frequency boost at around 10KHz which is mostly absorbed by the windscreen but without it you can really hear that crispy high frequencies! It's like taking the thin blanket away separating the source from the ears. Anyway I live & breathe this audio/video stuff so I love noticing these kinds of differences on my headset lol. I am so curious if a metal mesh filter on these mics could retain the same crispy high end and clarity by dispersing the air from plosives rather than absorbing it like the foam sometimes can. The recent 4K quality & audio step-up you've made are making these videos so good in terms of production quality. So worth the extra time I bet it takes to fine-tune and render. Congrats on the belly bump! Happy for you.
