A friendly stance towards one country makes a hostile stance to another. What an era we live in

The Korean people do not recognize him as the president.

I was stationed in South Korea (Kunsan AB) years ago. I liked South Korea a lot more than Okinawa. The people are friendly and I liked the food. The only real downside of being stationed in South Korea is it boarders North Korea. As we used to say, "Kunsan, is only a scenic four hour tank drive from the DMZ."

Quite possibly the most difficult position globally is south Korea's. North Korea, China and Taiwan right beside it and the U.S behind them.

The fact is that most of Korean people have called President Yoon to step down ASAP

Thank you for giving President Yoon a platform to speak. I live in South Korea, and it's truly an incredible country. I'm very thankful to live here.

This is what he said in the interview with Washington post yesterday. "I can't accept the notion that because of what happened 100 years ago, something is absolutely impossible [to do] and that they [Japanese] must kneel [for forgiveness] because of our history 100 years ago." It took me by surprise listening to his comment. He's not Korean president let alone Korean. No Korean say Japan must kneel. What we request was sincere remorse, sorriness. Not a retaliation behind our back over 100 years.
