UCF Aphasia House Life Day Celebration

Показать описание
Bart used to remember April 13 as the somber anniversary of his stroke. But student clinicians at UCF’s Aphasia House wanted to change that — so they surprised him with a “Life Day” party to help him instead recognize the date as celebration of his survival, his progress and his future.
One of just a few of its kind in the country, UCF’s Aphasia House provides an intensive, comprehensive therapy program designed to help those with aphasia improve their speech and language abilities. During the multi-week program, student clinicians work alongside licensed clinical faculty members and use the latest research to create a personalized course of therapy for clients.
