If you are still a student who has to go to school every day, you will probably know that the school rules are not always fun. School rules are often strict, stupid and made by old people who don't understand the young students. Some of these stupid rules include no smartphones in school, wearing a uniform, and not being able to talk in class.

Due to all these strict school rules, many students do not like school at all and even go to school reluctantly. A student who is reluctant to go to school is less motivated and gets worse results. Imagine that one day the government decides to let students make the school rules themselves... Would students deal with this responsibly? Or would everything go haywire? as a nerd, here’s some revisions that keep the intentions and some explanations of good ideas:

-having school start even later instead of end earlier would have the intended effect of making the school day shorter while also making the education better with students being well-rested
-instead of swapping the weekdays and weekends, add wednesday to the weekend to have some rest in the middle of the week
-just remove the school uniforms, the dress code can just be the laws of the united states
-mental health is important and homework barely helps at all, removing the homework is a good decision
-allow students to retake exams as many times as they like, schools are supposed to teach people, not punish them for not being perfect
-talking in class should be kept to a whisper for anyone who actually want to learn
-you can eat in class as long as you don’t leave a huge mess
-there should be a limit on ridiculing teachers, they also have mental health, which is important
-bad teachers get fired, so the school and/or students help them find a job where they don’t have to interact with people as much
-i’m loving making these revisions, but i am certainly not most students
-i was about to say how fast food is unhealthy, but i decided not to because it can’t be worse than what schools already make. they should make the meals free though
-make a limit on how much candy you can get from the vending machine
-gaming rooms are fine as long as it’s only during recess
-school prisons for bullies would be 60% of the whole school where i’m from
-school guns are a terrible idea, all potential benefits are already supplied by the bully prison
-teachers should be the ones receiving a salary, and it should be higher than what they have now
-do not keep the teachers as slaves, that’s a terrible idea

This will only happen in public schools/cheap private schools. I can't even imagine one person in my school wanting to those stuff even if students could make the school rules.

My school gives me literally no homework like no joke, when they DO give homework its like a fifteen minutes thing.

More like allow all hair colors, allow phones in general especially if you actually need it for something like the google document/reminders, get rid of the dress code/“safety” code, get allow parkour/calisthenics, allow rooftop parkour too if you’re able to do it, etc.

I think I would rather make the rules myself but I won't go crazy like in the vid xD
Example -
- A few of the hair colored is allowed [not all tho]

- NO HOMEWORK CUZ 1 WE NEED TIME AFTER SCHOOL 2 IT'S BORING 3 IT'S USELESS BC YOU CAN DO IT AT SCHOOL 4 AT FIRST THIS WASN'T FOR ALL STUDENTS ONLY THE ONES WHO WEREN'T BEHAVING

- You can go in the rain [bc in my school teachers won't allow us to not be under a shelter when it's raining ]

- Class ends at 2pm instead of 3pm

- If the teachers do not find the one who was misbehaving, they do nothing instead of punishing the whole class

- 30 mins at the end of the day where you can play [bring a game from home but no phones], draw, read, chat, ...

- Phones allowed outside of classes

- Bullied kids are allowed to fight back

- Adding a garden for people to relax and take care of flowers to reduce stress if they want to

- PE is for the people who want to do it only [others will do some games to exercice instead]

My new rules:
1. School starts at 10 AM and ends at 4 PM.
2. There are 3 schooldays (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and 4 free days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
3. Uniforms and dresscodes are no more (there is a requirement of wearing at least underwear, a shirt, and pants).
4. No homework and no tests, no learning based on memorization and no learning useless things! Practical knowledge only.
5. Can whisper, drink, eat (no loud and distracting food) and going to bathroom by free will.
6. All classrooms are monitored, (without any mention to the teachers) so bad teachers will get downgraded to the bully prison teachers for a month before they get fired for good.
7. All the bullies must go to the school prisons, getting the worst conditions and lessons by the bad teachers.
8. There is a hall supervisor who writes down a list of kids who will get to the bully prison.
9. Teachers must give salary to the students before the big breaks.
10. There are 3 month breaks in summer and winter, so it's all evened out.

I would:
1: make it so you still learn but you learn what you want and you don't learn past 12 PM

2: caps/hoods allowed

3: no homework

4: no uniform (you can come in what you want)

5: after 12 PM you can either go home or bring in games/do what you want

6: you can eat in class

3- let us enjoy food meanwhile learning but not on exams

2:24 This is actually a brilliant rule, but there needs to be an objective court system in school to decide whether someone is a bully or not.
It also makes the 'you can humiliate teachers' rule obsolete.

Uhhhmmm.... There is a list of rules which i want to introduce -
• No uniform
• No homework ofc
• Teachers will need to pay a fine of they make the student feel bad even it was not his fault :)
