Oldtimer Lanz Bulldog- will nicht starten 30.04.2022

Vielleicht lag es an den Flatterventilen, oder Motoröl zu kalt/zäh, Zündkopf zu kalt/voll Ruß, evtl. Sprühbild der Düse sehr schlecht. Hier beim 10. Glühkopf- Wochenende 2022 in Wortel Belgien. Das alle zwei Jahre stattfindende Glühkopfwochenende ist eine einzigartige Veranstaltung, an der nur Glühkopftraktoren und Glühkopf-Stationärmotoren teilnehmen. Mit rund 300 Teilnehmern ist dies das größte Glow-Cup-Treffen in Europa. Verschiedene Marken waren hier vertreten, wie Lanz/Ursus/Vierzon/Pampa/HSCS/Le Percheron/Landini/KL Bulldog/BM Munktell/und Mac Donald.

This bring back 35 year old memories from when I studies mechanics and we restored an old two stroke 4.2 litre semidiesel Lanz. Our teacher wouldn't allow us to start it because he had a bad experience starting old engines. He weren't able to stop an engine he tested and axel to the gigantic flywheel broke and the havoc the flywheel made scared him for life. ;-)

I think these tractors are incredible not only in the simplicity but also in their durability. But can you imagine how hard the salesman had to work to convince a farmer that had steam power or horses, "This is the future of farming!" All you need to do is shove the steering wheel into the crankcase and cross your fingers (if you're good at letting go in time) give it a turn after it has warmed up and it'll run all day long! Fantastic and beautiful, WELL DONE 👍
