Lately, the only Steve DOES videos are ones where a company is sending a product for sponsorship. I miss content with a unique idea.

Great video. AWOL is replacing a lot of flat panel TVs. Nice set up as well.

Interesting to see that the 3D glasses are still "DLP Link", despite that being a laser projector rather than DLP - I had wondered if laser projectors would still use them or if they had their own solution. The good thing about continuing to use DLP Link, is you can easily find more cheap compatible glasses to have a bunch of spares for guests.

Are you sure that was 100"? I have a 120" screen in the living room and 100" in the bedroom and they take up pretty much the entire wall - to my eyes that one looked more like maybe 80". In the shot with the fabric laid out on the frame the fabric was a lot larger than the frame - maybe the fabric was 100", but the frame was only 80"?

What is the distance from the screen to the couch? Does that distance seem good?

I don't supposed you would be able to test if 3D and game/low latency modes can be used together on that projector? My old BenQ projector was excellent for 3D gaming (excellent 3D support, and low latency across the board without needing a dedicated game mode), but my more recent Xgimi is abysmal for it (high latency outside game mode, cannot activate both game and 3D modes at the same time, 3D doesn't activate automatically and is generally poorly supported). How does this one compare?

Do your family a favour and pull the cabinet slightly forward so they're able to accommodate their old soundbar.

Movies are 50% visuals and 50% audio, and there are occasions when the audio out does the visuals.

Wow. $4 grand plus. That is so out of my reach.

Don’t buy this. I’ve got one and it’s incredibly blurry in the corners. It has a focus option but it then un focuses the centre. Should not be paying out over 2 grand for a blurry picture
