I am a Chicago based artist, entrepreneur, and retired (at least for now) Nurse. Besides art, my passions are skydiving, scuba, yoga and travel. Skydiving and scuba have greatly influenced my art journey. Just like in fluid art and epoxy, with skydiving, fluid art and epoxy, you have to be in harmony with your surroundings, a collaboration with the elements if you will. If you hold on too tightly, and try to control too forcefully it rarely goes how you wish, but if you work with the paints, air, or water, everything gets easier, and becomes harmonious. And just like with skydiving, I often visualize a pour many, sometimes hundreds of times even before I start, so that I have a clear vision of how I want things to proceed. This allows me to let go more completely in the moment. If you would like to learn more about me and my art, please stop by my website:

Taneva, this is so out of the box creative thinking. Even if not for this piece, it definitely has a place in art.

I love the way you swipe! I remember a large blue one you did a long while back and thought it added so much interest to it. You are very creative. I would love to see that silicone part flat against the paint. What a creative idea!! ❤❤

Love the epoxy embellishment. Maybe add another black stripe to the top and a copper one to the middle with lower the elevation of the embellishments. Way cool concept!💖💖💖

I wondered how you were going to sculpt resin. I’ve never seen any one use it like that. The swipe colors are so pretty and I like the contrast of the matte look of the canvas and the shininess of the resin. Great job Taneva. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with. ❤
